    My husband has lived in Bloomfield all his life and loves this place . I have recently moved to Nj from Manhattan and have to say not a fan of Jerseys way of pizza but I like it here . We  order chicken parmigiana and chicken Francese both orders are big enough to share satisfying and  delicious ! The Buffalo wings and meatballs are also great and well proportioned.

    I'm 4 months pregnant and haven't been able to eat due to Nausea but his pizza has definitely been one of the many few I crave and can have both cheese and pepperoni.

    I usually Order for deliver so have no complaints about costumer service but my deliver people have always been great and friendly .

    As per my husband the staff has always been hospitable and friendly when he pics up he says  Mario is definitely very passionate about his restaurant and food which can some times be misinterpreted but he means well.

      Neighborhood pizza joint with lots of history.
      I am NOT a fan of big NY Style greasy, triangle cut pizza (waiting for the gasps and cries of sacrilege).
     But I did like this for 1 reason - the bottom of the crust was very crispy and not flimsy.  Pepperoni's were big and good quality.  And I tried the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch gimmick pizza and again - it want bad.
     3 of us had drinks and 2 slices each and it was under $30.
     So yeah - I liked the pie here.

    This place is terrible.  Used to live close so I would stop in from time to time.  Tried it again yesterday. Ordered a mushroom pizza.  They open a can of sliced mushrooms and dump them on top of the pizza. Not even melted into the cheese.  Just the nastiest attempt at a mushroom pizza I ever saw.   I'm sorry but I have never had anything good here except, maybe for a can of soda because they can't touch it.

    'Mario's Famous Pizza'?    It's only 'famous' in his own mind!!

    Go elsewhere.

    This is THE pizza place for us ever since we moved here. Our favorite is Mario's special. If you like thin crust with very rich toppings, this is the place to go.

    So I haven't ordered from Mario's in quite sometime, I thought I'd givem a shot since they were close by, I ordered 2 pies with both also gettin 2 toppings, I picked them up so I can't comment on delivery time, but they were waiting for me when I arrived. I thought it was pricey but then I did get 2 toppings on each. They both were delicious. You can sit down and eat if you like, I'm not too sure of the cleanliness of the dinning area but I would order to pic up again
